A suspect is in custody after being shot during an attempted burglary in the Upstate, over the weekend. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Lakeview Circle, around 3AM Saturday.
Deputies say a resident of the home fired a gun and hit the suspect who was trying to break-in. The suspect then fled the scene.
About 4 hours later, the Sheriff’s Office got a call from St. Francis Hospital saying that a man had come in there with a gunshot wound. Deputies say the man is believed to be the suspect, but they have not released his identity…
