Missing kids located in Craven County; mom faces abuse charges

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — Victoria Wells, 30, of Anderson, South Carolina, was arrested by the Craven County Sheriff’s Office after being located in a suspicious vehicle with two children who were the subjects of a missing person report in Carteret County.

According to a press release, Wells was charged with two counts of child abuse and is being held in the Craven County Confinement Facility under a $10,000 secured bond.

The children’s father took custody of the children, and the Department of Social Services was contacted…
