2 same-day crashes near Upstate high school, 1 damages school, officials say

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said that two car crashes occurred at Dorman High School on Wednesday.

Officials said the first crash happened at the intersection of Highway 221 N and Cavalier Way between 8 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. The crash involved a Spartanburg School District Six van and another driver.

The sheriff’s office said that the other driver, Paola Flores Sanchez, was charged and arrested for the following:

  • Operating an uninsured vehicle
  • Driving without a license
  • Failing to yield
