Disaster recovery assistance events to be held in the Upstate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — The South Carolina Office of Resiliency is hosting mobile intake events in the Upstate this week for survivors of Helene to apply for disaster recovery assistance.

Representatives said these events will provide an opportunity for residents with unmet needs to receive help, as a disaster case manager will develop an individual recovery plan for each applicant during the following times and dates:

Monday, August 18

Abbeville County Library—1407 North Main Street, Abbeville—9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday, August 19

Cyrill-Westside Library – 525 Oak Grove Road, Spartanburg – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church—1012 Mauldin Road, Greenville—8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, August 20

Abbeville County Library—1407 North Main Street, Abbeville—11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m…
