Supporters call on officials to help preserve historical racetrack

A group of supporters is frequently working to save a historical race track in the Upstate. A group gathered along Calhoun Memorial Highway Sunday in an effort to save the Greenville-Pickens Speedway.

The group hopes to preserve the track by having officials declare it a historic landmark. The land adjacent to the track is being developed into an industrial park.
