Greenville Co. school district planning to implement AI in classrooms

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville County School District is laying out how it plans to implement AI in classrooms this year.

The district said it is using a program called ‘Magic School AI,’ which allows teachers to upload information to create personalized lessons, lesson plans and resources which they can give students access to.

Officials report the technology is different from generative AI chatbots such as ChatGPT because students cannot use it like a search engine. Teachers can oversee and limit their use of the program…
