SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – As the construction deadline draws near, there’s more and more pressure on Spartanburg City Council to decide the future of Spartanburg’s iconic clock tower.
The clock tower is set to be moved later this year to make room for a streetscaping project along with a new hotel and mixed-use development that start construction this fall. However, some residents have now launched a “Support the Spartanburg downtown clock from relocation” movement.
