Upstate man sentenced for cyberstalking and Ponzi Scheme

An Anderson County man will spend over a decade in prison for cyberstalking and running a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme. The U.S. Department of Justice says 42 year old, Michael French of Pendelton has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison.

As we previously reported, French used the money from the Ponzi Scheme to fund his luxurious lifestyle. Court records show that he was spending as much as 40 grand per day at times, giving money to female Tik-Tok creators.
