The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities plans to host its annual Grand Jeté in late September.
Dance students from across South Carolina are invited to attend the weeklong event celebrating classical and contemporary dance. The Grand Jeté will be held Sep. 29 through Oct. 5 at the Governor’s School campus in downtown Greenville.
A solo competition for dancers ages 10 to 19 will be held on Oct. 4 and 5. Prizes for the competition total $4,000 in the classical ballet, modern/contemporary dance and student choreography categories…
