‘A legacy that will last:’ Former Mayor of Spartanburg passes away

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — City leaders in Spartanburg are mourning the loss of former Mayor Junie White.

Officials said that city staff are keeping White’s family in their thoughts.

“His selfless dedication to our city and its people has created a legacy that will last for many generations to come,” a statement from the city reads.
