Greenville moving forward with city hall renovations without private developer

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Greenville is moving forward with plans to renovate city hall without selling the building to a private developer.

The city said Wednesday that it is looking for proposals to design the renovations to the 53-year-old building located at 206 S. Main Street.

Renovations will include a complete re-do of floors one through six to house city departments, an addition at the back of the building for new city council chambers and an employee entrance, and turning floors seven through 10 into a shell for potential future tenants…
