SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened Monday evening on Bridgeford Lane.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said that while a deputy was responding to a call, they were confronted by a person wielding a large knife.
The deputy shot the knife wielder and they were then transported to the hospital.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said they are not responding to the scene at this time…
