Greenville County school placed on hold after report of a gun on campus

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A Greenville County high school was put on a hold Wednesday afternoon after a student reported someone brought a gun to school.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Carolina High School was placed on hold while deputies investigated a report that a student may have been in possession of a gun on campus.

The sheriff’s office said deputies contacted the student in question, but no gun was found. No one was allowed in or out of the building while deputies conducted a search of the school…
