SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities say a months-long investigation has led to a major drug bust and the arrest of a Greenville County man on multiple trafficking charges.
The Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit announced Friday that Irby Jarrard Watkins was arrested on Sept. 4 following an extensive probe that began in May.
During the investigation, officers seized:
- 21.64 pounds of marijuana
- 1,508.09 grams of cocaine
- 39.5 grams of heroin
- 563.32 grams of fentanyl
- 2 firearms
- $4,176 in cash
In addition, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) executed a related search warrant at an address in Duncan.
