The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas Plane Pull Sept. 20 at Greenville Downtown Airport raised more than $30,000, the highest total in the event’s history according to organizers.
Twenty teams participated in the annual fundraiser. The Heavy Metal Movers claimed the top spot as the fastest team, with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits second.
“All of the excitement and energy at the Plane Pull translates directly into support for our mission,” said Michael Lanier, director of development at RMHC of the Carolinas in a statement. “Every dollar raised helps keep families close to their children receiving medical care.”…
