Regional land trust celebrates 50,000 acres protected
FOOTHILLS—Conserving Carolina, a regional land trust, has surpassed a major milestone with more than 50,000 acres now under protection across Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.
The nonprofit announced the achievement on September 20 during its annual Conservation Celebration fundraiser.
