A suspect is dead after a deputy involved shooting in the Upstate, over the weekend. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a trespasser on a vacant lot on Stegall Circle off of White Horse Road in Greenville, just before 1PM Sunday.
When deputies arrived, they encountered the armed suspect, which led to a deputy involved shooting. One deputy fired on the suspect, who was injured and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
