SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A misdemeanor charge of assault & battery against Spartanburg County Councilman Monier Abusaft was dismissed Tuesday.
The charge stemmed from an incident reported by a homeowner following an argument in September of the previous year, with the charge being filed in April. Abusaft was accused of grabbing a trash can and shoving it into the homeowner’s leg and abdomen during the argument.
