Upstate coroner’s office to hold address rise in infant deaths, provide safe sleep tips

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Several groups are expected to come together on Monday to address a rise in infant deaths in the area and promote safe sleep practices.

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office and the Upstate safety ambassador say the area and South Carolina as a whole continue to see trends of unexpected child deaths.

As part of October’s safe sleep awareness month, the groups will go over safe sleeping tips for parents and family members…
