Durbin Creek Volunteer Fire Department receives $38K grant

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation recently awarded the Durbin Creek Volunteer Fire Department a $38,669.41 grant to purchase a set of Hurst E-Draulic Extrication Tools. This includes a Hurst spreader, Hurst Cutter and a Hurst Ram.

The new extrication tools will benefit the Durbin Creek Fire District by allowing the department to outfit a rescue truck with extrication tools and ultimately improve lifesaving capabilities when responding to traffic accidents and other emergencies.
