SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Department of Public Health said its mobile unit will be providing measles vaccines in the Upstate amid an outbreak.
Below is the schedule for the mobile unit:
- October 16: 2-6 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Spartanburg
- October 17: 1-4 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Spartanburg
- October 20: 2-6 p.m. at Boiling Springs Library on Double Bridge Road
- October 22: 2-6 p.m. at Wellford Baptist Church on Syphrit Road
- October 23: 2-6 p.m. at Dr. T. K. Gregg Community Center in Spartanburg
Officials have confirmed 16 cases of measles in South Carolina so far this year. Twelve of those cases are part of an outbreak in Spartanburg County.
