The Mauldin Police Department will host its Lend-a-Paw donation drive Nov. 1.
Pet supply donations will be collected during the third annual event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hollywood Feed at the intersection of Woodruff Road and S.C. Highway 14. Dogs available for adoption will also be at the event.
The collected donations will benefit Greenville County Animal Care’s food pantry, which helps pet owners experiencing financial hardship. Requested donations include:
- Dog food
- Dry cat food
- Kitty litter
- Fleece blankets
- Towels
- Large Kong toys
- Canned pate-style dog and cat food.
“Seeing our police cars packed with pet food and supplies shows just how much our community cares,” said Sgt. Harley Sefcik with the Mauldin Police Department. “With just a small donation, people can make a big difference for pets in need, and we’re grateful to everyone who joins us in this effort.”…
