New measles cases bring total to 37 in Upstate this year

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – State health officials said four more measles cases were reported in Spartanburg County since Tuesday.

The new cases bring the total number of cases in the Upstate to 37 since July and 34 in the current Spartanburg County outbreak.

According to the South Carolina Department of Public Health, the new cases were linked to close contacts of known cases. Officials said there were no known public exposures from the new cases…
