WELLFORD, S.C. (WSPA) – The Wellford Police Department is cracking down on overweight trucks, which they say are tearing up city roads.
Police Chief David Green said heavy trucks are using the small city as a shortcut between major routes, and it’s taking a toll on the infrastructure.
