Inman student named ‘Kindest Kid in America’

INMAN, S.C. (WSPA) — Ximena Estrada-Cano, a student at Inman Intermediate School, has been named the first South Carolina recipient of the Kindest Kid in America award, a national campaign recognizing children for extraordinary acts of kindness and inclusion.

The Kindest Kid in America campaign, founded by social worker Jessie Hansen, aims to prevent school violence and bullying by promoting kindness over hate. Through recognition and storytelling, the initiative inspires a culture of empathy and compassion among students nationwide.
