Upstate toddler receives playset donation while battling cancer

INMAN, S.C. (WSPA)— Cornerstone Building Brands partnered with Roc Solid Foundation to donate a custom backyard playset to Ruth Arledge, a 2.5-year-old girl from Inman, who is undergoing cancer treatment.

The playset was installed at Ruth’s home on Brannon Circle Wednesday, November 5th, providing her with a safe space to play as she battles leukemia.

This initiative is part of Cornerstone Building Brands’ Connecting Communities program, which aims to strengthen communities through volunteerism and charitable giving.

Ruth is currently being treated at Prisma Health Greenville Hospital and is in the maintenance phase of her leukemia treatment. The playset provides her and her family, including her 14-year-old brother Landon, a joyful space to focus on her recovery…
