SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – An Upstate woman has been arrested after authorities said she stole thousands of dollars from a resident at a nursing home.
According to the state attorney general’s office, investigators arrested Jeanna Avery Stronkowsky, of Greer, on Monday.
Her arrest came after investigators with the state’s Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud unit and the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office reportedly discovered that between August 2024 and February 2025, Stronkowsky used her position of attorney for a vulnerable adult to steal $67,082 for her own benefit…
