GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Doctors at Bon Secours Saint Francis say they see an uptick in visits of patients experiencing back pain during the holidays.
“Even though it’s a time to be celebrating your family, they can also be kind of stressful, and sometimes stress can really exacerbate lower back issues,” Board Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon James Whaley told 7 NEWS. “A lot of the back injuries we see during the holiday season are people lifting objects or moving things that they don’t normally do.”
