One key event this year was the transition of Pickens’ water supply to Greenville Water. This change, implemented last fall, addressed previous issues with sediment, inconsistent water quality, and unreliable service. Residents now have access to clear and reliable water, and the city has reported fewer water-main breaks, reducing disruptions and repair costs.
