On December 6, 2025, detectives from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon Wayne Hopkins, 35, after a woman was fatally stabbed at a home on Oakwood Drive in Easley, South Carolina. Hopkins, who knew the victim, is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
He is being held without bail at the Pickens County Detention Center. The Easley Police Department, Pickens County Coroner’s Office, and South Carolina Department of Natural Resources assisted in the investigation. The coroner’s office will release the victim’s name later…
