The Greenville City Council will take a final vote on an ordinance to rezone the Haynie-Sirrine neighborhood on Dec. 8, which advocates say will streamline the process for approving new developments.
The Haynie-Sirrine neighborhood is a historic community in Greenville, bisected by Church Street and situated South of University Ridge. It was designated as Planned Development (PD) zoning under the 2002 Haynie-Sirrine Neighborhood Master Plan.
