Fountain Inn High School cheerleaders have been collecting coats for those in need over the last few weeks. While their campaign has ended, the Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce will continue to accept new and gently used winter coats to donate to the James Monroe Mission House.
“We want to continue to collect coats to make sure there’s no one in Fountain Inn is going without coats, hats, mittens and other winter gear,” Marnie Schwartz-Hanley, president and CEO of the Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce, said. “Though some winters are mild, lately, it’s been pretty cold.”
