GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Several puppies are now recovering after being found on the roadside in Greenville County earlier this week.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said a citizen called dispatch after discovering a laundry hamper with 7 abandoned puppies inside.
“This time of year is especially dangerous for animals. Cold temperatures, sickness, and exposure can quickly turn deadly. Anyone who can abandon innocent animals in the cold shows a complete disregard for life, and it’s something we will never understand,” GCSO said.
A responding deputy took the puppies to the dispatch center, where one of the dispatchers took the puppies home…
