GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. – Changes could be coming to how South Carolina handles certain homicide cases after the tragic death of an Upstate child.
Egypt Henderson was beaten by her father, Joseph Morales, when she was only one year old.
The abuse left her with lasting health complications and ultimately claimed her life in 2024 when she was just 10 years old.
Morales was sentenced to 18 years in prison for beating her but he will not serve any time for her death…
