Hanukkah, the eight-day holiday celebrated in the Jewish faith, ends tonight, Monday, Dec. 22.
Known as the festival of lights, the celebration is marked by the nightly lighting of candles. The dates of Hanukkah can vary, though they generally fall around the same time as Christmas. In 2024, Christmas and Hanukkah coincided, with some playfully referring to the joint traditions as “Christmukkah.”
