Rate hike coming in 2026 for Greenville Water customers

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Greenville Water customers will see a rate hike starting Jan. 1, with an average increase of 79 cents for households using 3,000 gallons of water. This increase will be reflected in February bills.

The rate hike is designed to support critical capital improvement projects that enhance the water system’s infrastructure.

As the service area continues to grow, Greenville Water said the investment in these upgrades is necessary to maintain service quality and support the expanding population.
