Travelers warned: DUI checks ramp up for holiday safety

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Families are celebrating the holidays, but law enforcement across the Upstate are reminding drivers to put safety first—especially on the roads.

With millions of Americans expected to travel for year-end holidays, officers said they’ll also be out in force as part of the statewide “Sober or Slammer” campaign.
