SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Christmas Day felt more like summer across the Upstate as temperatures climbed into the upper 70s, setting records and surprising many residents who expected a more traditional winter holiday.
According to 7NEWS meteorologists, the unusually warm conditions are among the warmest Christmas Day temperatures on record. Instead of coats and scarves, many people spent the holiday in short sleeves, enjoying sunshine and outdoor activities.
