COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — Whooping cough cases are rising across the United States, with South Carolina’s Upstate region reporting 470 cases this year.
Health experts said the United States has seen nearly 28,000 whooping cough cases this year.
The South Carolina Department of Public Health is reporting 20 new measles cases since Friday, marking a jump in the outbreak after Christmas.
