SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — The Spartanburg Police Department is investigating a homicide following an early morning shooting on New Year’s Day.
The incident occurred around 1:10 a.m. at the Spinx Convenience Store located at 1507 W.O. Ezell Boulevard. Responding officers found a man shot in the parking lot and administered first aid, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity at this time…
