Child reported positive for measles in North Carolina

POLK COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) reported a case of measles in Polk County.

Officials said an unvaccinated child had visited locations in Spartanburg County linked to the ongoing measles outbreak in the Upstate. The child reportedly developed symptoms before Christmas, and has since recovered.
