GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A man died New Years Eve after he was struck by a vehicle while on the side of the road, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office said.
On December 26, 63-year-old Robert Lewis Jeter was working on a vehicle at the 200 block of Old Piedmont Highway, in Greenville. Jeter was then struck by a vehicle and was transported to the hospital.
He succumbed to his injuries Wednesday. The coroner’s office said the cause of death was determined to be blunt-force injury to the torso which triggered a dangerous heart rhythm with underlying heart disease that led to heart failure…
