One person arrested following drug bust in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — A weekend traffic stop in Greenville County resulted in the arrest of a man on multiple drug trafficking and firearm charges, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said a deputy conducted a traffic stop on East Butler Road in the city of Mauldin. During the stop, the deputy reportedly discovered and seized a large quantity of illegal drugs and a firearm.

According to the sheriff’s office, the items recovered included approximately 73.78 grams of fentanyl, 41.91 grams of methamphetamine, 13 Schedule II narcotic pills, 30 Schedule IV narcotic pills, and one stolen firearm…
