GREER, S.C. (WSPA) — An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in a wooded area in Greer on Monday.
Investigators said they were called to a home at the 300 block of Novelty Drive after the woman was found via drone around 150 feet from the residence.
Deputies said they were in the area around 3:30 p.m. to search for 55-year-old Rebecca Chudoba Beets, who was reported missing. She was last seen on January 3 near her home on Novelty Drive, the Greer Police Department said.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office positively identified the woman as Rebecca Beets. Her death is being investigated as suspicious due to her body being found outside after she was reported missing, officials told 7NEWS…
