HART COUNTY, GA (WSPA) – A woman from Pickens County was arrested in Georgia following a car chase, according to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 4 p.m. January 6, a deputy with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a 2008 white Chrysler Aspen, which pulled into a drive on Whitworth Road near Interstate 85.
Authorities said while the deputy was speaking with the driver, she suddenly drove away from the deputy and up the drive, before turning around and driving back towards the deputy’s vehicle. The driver then ran over the curb in an attempt to reenter the roadway…
