RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – A fifth measles case has now been reported in North Carolina.
According to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, the latest case was in Rutherford County.
99 new cases of measles reported in SC outbreak, 310 total
Officials said they have notified anyone who may have been exposed to that patient.
NCDHHS said they have not yet determined the source of exposure for the latest case. They said this indicates that there are likely other undetected measles cases in North Carolina…
