The Fountain Inn City Council had its first meeting of 2026 on Thursday, adopting an ordinance and two resolutions unanimously.
The first ordinance was Ordinance 2025-08, approving the City to purchase a new fire engine using a lease-purchase model. The cost, $885,750, will be financed by the City.
Council also passed two resolutions on their first and final readings — Resolution 2026-01 and Resolution 2026-2.
