SOUTH CAROLINA — Authorities are investigating after skeletal remains found over the weekend in the Chesnee community were given a presumptive identification, according to officials.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said the remains are believed to belong to Ray Lee Suttles, 57, who was reportedly last seen in July 2025. The identification is considered presumptive and will remain so until a forensic anthropologist is able to examine the remains.
