ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – The City of Anderson is moving forward to the design phase for a new fire station, which leaders said is necessary to meet the area’s growing demand.
The new station will be at the corner of East West Parkway Beltline Connector. At Monday’s council meeting, leaders voted to approve the contract on architectural services for a new fire station: “Fire Station Four.”
“Next steps moving forward or the design phase,” said David McCuen, City Manager for Anderson. “We will hop right into the design phase with the committee that we have between administration and our project management team, including members of the committee of the fire department.”…
