The South Carolina Office of Resilience has opened three regional offices to serve households that are still affected by damage Hurricane Helene wrought nearly a year-and-a-half ago.
SCOR’s Hurricane Helene Housing Recovery Program — part of a $150 million HUD-funded initiative to rebuild the Upstate — now has offices in the cities of Aiken, Greenville, and Greenwood:
- Aiken, SC: 900 Trail Ridge Rd. Suite 210, Aiken 29803
- Greenville, SC: 147 Commons Way, Greenville 29611
- Greenwood, SC: 104 Maxwell Ave. Suite 402, Greenwood 29646
The offices will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturdays. Residents can make an appointment or drop in.
Recovery funds are open to residents of the 15 Upstate counties hit hardest by Helene: Abbeville, Aiken, Anderson, Cherokee, Edgefield, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Oconee, Orangeburg, Pickens, Saluda, Spartanburg, and Union…
